Yes. The quality of CT imaging is related to the number of slices a scanner produces during an exam. Southwoods’ 64-slice CT scanner provides a high level of detail, enabling more accurate diagnoses. Some freestanding imaging centers in our region use CT equipment with a range of only 2 to 8 slices.
Southwoods Imaging is proud to offer the most technologically advanced imaging equipment in the area. Other area providers have equipment that is 10+ years old, which does not have the same technological capabilities and will not produce the same picture quality.
